It's been a few weeks now since I ran Dallas. Since then I've done a lot of yoga and only minimal running. And then, while I was home, I rested completely.
So imagine my surprise when I went for a loop around Memorial Park last night and my right hamstring started getting tight again. It's a problem that started for me right before the Austin Half. And I can't seem to shake it.
I tried getting a massage and that didn't work. Lots of stretching. Hot and ice baths. The stick. Time off. But none of it seems to be working.
I could try to push through it. Hope it will just go away. But it's been about two months now and that's not happening. It doesn't bother me all the time. It's fine when I go slow. Mostly. But I don't want to go slow. It's time to go fast.
