New Goals - Lean

So I finally went back for my follow up body fat test last Tuesday. I didn't really know what to expect. I knew I had lost some weight and I could see more muscle definition, but I wasn't sure. I told myself I would be happy with anything under 30% since I was 33.8 the last time I went.

So of course in the lead up to the test I had like 5 cheat meals. Insert eye roll here. Saturday was margaritas and Mexican for dinner. Sunday was brunch and champagne and pizza. And then Monday was more Mexican bc of Sunday. Whoops.

Clearly I had to run Tuesday morning before the test. hahahaha

Then at lunch time I headed over to visit Heather. The got a new machine that's so supposed to be even more accurate than the BodPod and you don't even have to strip down lol.

So my new results were:
Weight - 147.6
Body Fat - 27.8

So I lost 6.3 pounds and 6% body fat. Total time elapsed between tests was 16 weeks.

This places me in the moderately lean category for women.

Moving forward, I think I'd like to go quarterly. So I would go around every 17 weeks. My new goal is to move into the lean category which is 18-22%. Something else the results said is that my lean body mass is in a good place, but that my body fat mass could stand to lose 9.3 pounds and that would put me in an ideal place. For what, I don't know. But it sounds good to me.

So I want to keep following the nutrition guide from Tone It Up, using their workout plans and keeping up with my running and yoga. I've definitely been slacking on the yoga lately. I was never super strict on it over the 16 weeks and I'll probably stay on a similar path, although I will try to only have one real cheat meal a month I think. I really do like the food in their recipes...I just miss my cheese.

Next test date = November 14th. Time to get to work.

Weekend

I love weekends. I wish they were longer...doesn't everybody? It was quite the lazy weekend too, being that it was so hot out. I ran Sunday...kind of. It was so hot, I hadn't had enough water, or food for that matter, so I cut my run short. And then we opted to eat out instead of cooking. I really need to cook this week. And maybe not drink. Except I have half a bottle of red left over from last night's Bachelorette finale fiesta with E.  Monday. Oh Monday. Cancelled my run once again when the car told me it was 102 outside. Can't wait to be able to run in the mornings. Last night was the Bachelorette season finale so E came over for dinner and some wine. Insurance process

Ok, so who has ever had their place broken into? First I filed the police report. Then after I actually had a handle on what really was missing I amended the police report. I gathered all of the documentation I could find for the things that were missing - it's amazing how often I just throw away the receipts - and sent that along with an itemized list to the insurance company. Now what? How long will this take? The one guy I spoke to said that they have 15 days to process the claim, but that it usually gets done sooner. Will I hear from them in the meantime? I called my new apartment complex yesterday. I am supposed to be moving on August 31 but naturally I want to get out of here as soon as possible. They told me the current tenant moves out on the 19th and that they may be able to get me in that weekend - the 24th or 25th. They were going to check on a few things and let me know.
