Catching up

Seems like all I do lately is catch you on what's been happening in my life through pictures...and guess what, I'm doing it again.

I stayed in Houston for Thanksgiving again this year. Oof, was it an early morning. Ran the Turkey Trot with E at a comfortable 9/min pace. Went home and made myself breakfast...with mimosas. Bc, why not? And then E's family was nice enough to invite me to dinner again.

What else happened. Cooked Friday night at my place, did nothing on Saturday, worked from home and then cooked at G's on Sunday, was feeling green all day Monday and cooked last night for SoA.

Besides the Turkey Trot, I've only run twice in the past five days. Once felt horrible, tho the pace was decent, and the second was on the treadmill and I felt semi-decent. I really would like to try and start running over lunch, but it's going to have to wait until next week.

We have a work event tomorrow night - the Hall of Fame dinner at the Grove - so I'm getting a blowout at DryBar :) it's been a minute since I've been there, love that place. Hopefully I will get at least one pic...never seem to do that when I have cute hair.

Anywho...I can't believe it's December #45daysTilRaceDay

New Goals - Lean

So I finally went back for my follow up body fat test last Tuesday. I didn't really know what to expect. I knew I had lost some weight and I could see more muscle definition, but I wasn't sure. I told myself I would be happy with anything under 30% since I was 33.8 the last time I went.

So of course in the lead up to the test I had like 5 cheat meals. Insert eye roll here. Saturday was margaritas and Mexican for dinner. Sunday was brunch and champagne and pizza. And then Monday was more Mexican bc of Sunday. Whoops.

Clearly I had to run Tuesday morning before the test. hahahaha

Then at lunch time I headed over to visit Heather. The got a new machine that's so supposed to be even more accurate than the BodPod and you don't even have to strip down lol.

So my new results were:
Weight - 147.6
Body Fat - 27.8

So I lost 6.3 pounds and 6% body fat. Total time elapsed between tests was 16 weeks.

This places me in the moderately lean category for women.

Moving forward, I think …

Hello Weekend

Finally. Just one more day of work. And then it's the weekend. No sleeping in for me though. Early morning group run and volunteer lunch tomorrow and then course tour on Sunday.
